It\u2019s not just about losing a loved one, though that\u2019s the most common example. Anticipatory grief can also come when facing the end of a major life chapter, such as retirement, seeing a child move away, or even losing a home. The thought of \u201cwhat\u2019s next?\u201d can weigh on us, leaving us emotionally raw, sometimes before the actual loss even happens.<\/p><p>Knowing you&#8217;re not the only one who feels this way
