Maybe it was something shocking, like imagining yourself yelling at a loved one, or strange, like wondering what would happen if you just walked out of your job. If this has happened to you, you\u2019re not alone. These are called intrusive thoughts, and they\u2019re a natural part of being human, even though they can feel deeply upsetting.<\/p><\/div><\/div><p>Intrusive thoughts are <span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">sudden, unwanted ideas, images, or urges that seem to appear out of thin air. They often leave us questioning ourselves:&nbsp;<em>\u201cWhy would I think that?\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<em>\u201cDoes this mean something is wrong with me?\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;The short answer is no. Having<\/span> intrusive thoughts doesn\u2019t define you or your character.
