However, we can\u2019t help but see other people seem to indulge in these better than us. We see them going to concerts we have been wishing for, they watch movies we\u2019ve always missed, and they even get in line to buy limited edition merchandise which always stays on our Wishlist.\u00a0<\/p><blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Sometimes they might not be your priority. <\/p><\/blockquote><blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Even so, you still feel left behind as you\u2019re not able to do what they have achieved. <\/p><\/blockquote><blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p class=\"has-small-font-size\">What went wrong?<\/p><\/blockquote><p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Eventually, all these feelings of being left behind tend to make your heart throb. You know they are not your needs, but you still intend to achieve what they are doing because you want to fit in as well. These are some signs that you may have the fear of missing out (FOMO). You may think that people would perceive you as being \u2018out-fashioned\u2019 if you do not comply with these trends. <\/p><p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Despite that, there is nothing wrong with enjoying life. You can take a breather in any way you want. However, you need to have self-awareness of your real needs and desires. FOMO happens if you constantly find yourself keeping a tab on other people\u2019s activities or lifestyles making you sacrifice your self-worth.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Nowadays, trends are created by social media. It may expose you to many luxuries you may have not possessed yet. Thus, it sets unrealistic expectations that you should not fall behind. Discovering trends is never wrong. Sometimes you may post or engage in social media to get attention like other influencers which may not be your real interest.
